SS is going bankrupt because Congress “stole” money from the system to pay for other things! I’m sorry, but SS isn’t an entitlement. It’s a forced retirement fund that we’ve paid into our entire working lives. That was supposed to be a savings account for those that couldn’t put enough away to be able to stop working at an age when working becomes much more difficult. Why shouldn’t we be able to retire at an age where we can still enjoy it for a few more years??? Too many work too long, retire, and 6 months later are dead. That’s not much of a retirement if you ask me.
I believe that if you haven’t paid into the system, you don’t deserve to draw off that program.
